ANWAR'S DREAM
Muhammed Anwar Al-Sadat was a great humanitarian, the president of Egypt and a Nobel Peace Prize winner. He believed that peace could come to the Middle East. The subject of this painting is his vision of building a religious complex at the foot of Mt. Sinai, housing a Mosque,Temple and Christian Center. At the time of his death (assassination) in 1981, he had commissioned an architectural sketch and had raised more than a million dollars toward the site's construction.
